In brief

What does 3D printing in Rostock cost – and how fast will I get my part?

Calculate the indicative price for your part in the cost calculator above – upload your STL file, choose process and material, and see the price instantly. Autoskope produces in Rostock with three in-house technologies: FDM on the Raise3D Pro2 Plus (build volume up to 305 × 305 × 605 mm), SLA on the Formlabs Form 3+ (25–100 µm layers for the finest detail) and SLS on the Formlabs Fuse 1+ (Nylon 12, with no support structures). Simple prototypes are often ready for pickup within 24 hours, small series within a few days. Collect your part directly in Rostock or have it shipped across Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The same machines build the housings of our own GPS trackers – so you get proven industrial quality, not armchair theory.

Proven on Our Own Products

The housing of our GPS tracker Autoskope V3 is SLS-printed from Nylon 12 (PA12) – on the same Formlabs Fuse 1+ that is available for your projects. The result: an IP66-certified, waterproof housing measuring 100 × 60 × 30 mm that reliably operates in vehicles at temperatures from -20°C to +60°C.

We know the limits and strengths of each process from our own experience – not just from datasheets. This practical expertise flows into every consultation.

Frequently Asked Questions

We accept STL, STEP, OBJ, and 3MF files. For best results, we recommend binary STL files with a resolution of at least 0.1 mm.

Yes! As a local 3D printing provider in Rostock, we offer direct pickup. You save shipping costs and get your part faster.

FDM is suitable for robust prototypes and large parts with various material options (PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, Nylon). SLA (Form 3+) offers the highest detail resolution for delicate models and smooth surfaces. SLS (Fuse 1+) enables complex geometries without support structures and delivers industrial-quality parts. We are happy to advise you!

We offer a wide range: PLA (easy, eco-friendly), PETG (robust, food-safe), ABS (impact-resistant, heat-resistant), TPU (flexible), ASA (UV-resistant for outdoor), and Nylon (extremely durable). Each material has specific pros and cons – we help with selection.

The Fuse 1+ with 30W laser enables fast print times and high-strength parts from Nylon (PA12, PA11), including glass or carbon fiber reinforcement. No support structures needed, up to 80% powder recycling, and parts are immediately functional.

Over 30 validated materials: Standard Resins in various colors, Tough Resins with ABS-like strength, Flexible and Elastic for rubber-like parts, High Temp up to 238°C, and biocompatible Dental and Medical Resins.

Standard orders: 3-5 business days. Express service: 24-48 hours. For urgent projects, the Fuse 1+ enables next-day express – finished parts the next working day.

Yes, especially SLS parts from the Fuse 1+ are suitable for functional end-use parts and small series. SLA parts from Tough or High Temp Resin are also suitable for demanding applications.
